I am a State Certified to practice massage in California, offering massage to Pacifica, Daly City, Montara, Linda Mar, Sharp Park, Burlingame, San Bruno, South San Francisco.
My journey to pursue wellness began when i was a teenager and I have been interested in massage, nutrition and the healing arts ever since. I completed my Certificate of Swedish Massage in 2009 and over the past years have continued to embrace studies in Advanced Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Prenatal Massage and CranioSacral Therapy.
I customize each massage to meet client needs and adjust pressure appropriately to ensure client comfort. Unless a relaxation massage is requested, the massages are very focused, using a mix of techniques to work antagonist muscles which may be causing soreness and tension. Joint mobilization and fascia stretching will be used as necessary to support the soft tissue release. Client participation in the form of communication, guided resisted stretches and subtle movements combined with strategic muscle targeting help to ensure optimal results. A lot of soreness and tension is chronic and in some cases a treatment program may be advisable.
I understand the demands of a stressful office environment and have compiled a special massage which is designed to help office workers with stiff shoulders and tight hips. I also specialize in chronic pain associated with construction industry workers and surfing related shoulder tension.
If you are interested in having a relaxation massage you will be please to know that I incorporate soothing music, hot stones & towels, light fragrances and flowing swedish movements. CranioSacral techniques may be incorporated to access the subtle energy movements.
